Woluwe-Saint-Pierre

Woluwe-Saint-Pierre within the Brussels-Capital Region

Woluwe-Saint-Pierre (French), or Sint-Pieters-Woluwe (Dutch) is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium.

On 1 January 2004 the municipality had a total population of 37,742 (17,410 males and 20,332 females). The total area is 8.85 km² which gives a population density of 4,263.96 inhabitants per km².

Spelling and pronunciation

Woluwe-Saint-Pierre is sometimes also spelled in French: Woluwé-Saint-Pierre with an accent on the first "e". See Woluwe-Saint-Lambert for a short discussion on the spelling and pronunciation.

Woluwe-Saint-Pierre is also often written in French: Woluwe-St-Pierre or abbreviated WSP.
