Living Marxism

For the council communist journal, see International Council Correspondence.

Living Marxism was founded in 1988 as the monthly magazine of the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP), alongside their theoretical journal, Confrontation. Living Marxism coexisted with and then replaced the weekly newspaper The Next Step, which continued as a bulletin for RCP supporters.

The last issue of Living Marxism was published in December 1996, followed in January 1997 by the new look LM magazine. By this stage the RCP had been wound up.

In 2000 LM closed after a libel writ issued by ITN. Editor, Mick Hume went on to write a column in The Times newspaper and currently edits the internet magzine Spiked.
