• Korczak is a Polish noble family name, related to Korczak Coat of Arms.

• Janusz Korczak was also a pseudonym of Henryk Goldszmit, Polish pediatrician, children writer and pedagogist, murdered by the Germans at the Treblinka extermination camp.
