John Aston

John Aston Jr (born June 28, 1947 in Manchester) was a English football player.

John was a forward who came up through the Manchester United youth system. His debut for the club came in 1965 against Leicester City. He would help the club win the 1967 League championship as well as the 1968 European Cup. John would go on to score 27 goals before leaving the club in 1972 for Luton Town.

His father, John Aston Sr, also played for the club the late 1940 and 50's. John Sr was born September 3, 1921 in Manchester. He also came through the Manchester United youth system. His debut for the club came in 1947. He would leave the club in 1954 after scoring 30 goals for the club.
