Jason Crummey is a Canadian politician. He lives in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories and works at a diamond mine on Lac De Gras . Crummey was a charter member of Newfoundland and Labrador's Terra Nova Green Party , and is a charter member of the Western Arctic Green Party in the Northwest Territories. Crummey was on the Green Party of Canada national council for two years, ran for deputy mayor and councillor at large for St. John's city council, and ran twice for the Newfoundland legislature. Crummey ran for the Leadership of the Green Party of Canada in 2003 and came a distant second to the first-ballot winner, Jim Harris.
