Camp Quest

A one-week summer camp for the children of Humanist, Atheist, Agnostic and Free-Thinking parents (Freethought qv), Camp Quest was founded in 1996 by the Free Inquiry Group, Inc. of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Edwin and Helen Kagin, the current co-directors, were founding members. The camp was started partially in response to the announcement that the Boy Scouts of America no longer welcomed Atheist children. The camp is staffed entirely by volunteers, and as of February 2005 was seeking not-for profit status.

Camp Motto

"It's Beyond Belief!"
