Boliviano

The boliviano (ISO 4217 code: BOB) is the currency of Bolivia. It is divided into 100 centavos.

Prior to the introduction of the boliviano in 1990, the currency was the Bolivian peso (ISO 4217: BOP). Following long years of rampant inflation, the swap from pesos to bolivianos took place at a ratio of one million to one.
